- Coach engaging private lessons and dynamic group rehearsals that prepare students for live performances.
- Teach the fundamentals of music—not just songs.
- Create thoughtful lesson plans while maintaining accurate lesson notes and Method App assignments.
- Build strong relationships with students and families through regular communication.
- Support rehearsals, school events, and the overall student experience.
- Follow the School of Rock Code of Conduct and all safety policies.
We're looking for musicians who enjoy working with people just as much as they enjoy making music. The ideal candidate has experience teaching students of varying ages and skill levels and enjoys helping them achieve goals through performance-based music education.
- 2+ years of music teaching and/or professional performance experience preferred.
- Experience teaching students of varying ages and abilities.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Knowledge of music theory and musical fundamentals.
- Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, patient, adaptable, and enjoys collaborating with others.
- Passion for teaching and helping students grow through live performance.

Starting pay begins at $20/hour, with higher compensation available for experienced instructors based on qualifications and teaching experience.
